  19. Installation:
  20.  
  21. To install this program, unzip the contents of X-LIGHTS.ZIP into a
  22. directory of your choice.  To run the program, you may install the
  23. icon to the Program Manager (using the File|New menu option) or you
  24. may double-click on the file (LIGHTS.EXE) from File Manager.  The
  25. lights will be hung from the top of the Windows desktop and an icon
  26. will be placed on the desktop.  To change the xmas lights options,
  27. simply double-click on the icon at the bottom of the screen.

  30. Settings:

  33. Flashing Mode:
  34. ==============
  35. None:         Select this to leave lights on (no flashing).
  36. Random:       This allows lights to flash independently.
  37. All At Once:  All lights flash on and off at the same time.
  38. Chase:        Lights "chase" each other.
  39. Alternating:  Every other light in the string is on at the same time.
  40.  
  41. Startup:
  42. ========
  43. Determines whether or not the icon is shown on the desktop.  Checking the
  44. "Hidden" radio button keeps the icon hidden.
  45.  
  46. Bulbs:
  47. ======
  48. Check these options to simulate real-world burnt-out and broken light bulbs.
  49.  
  50. Flash Rate:
  51. ===========
  52. Selects the speed at which the lights flash.
  53.  
  54. Color:
  55. ======
  56. Selects the colors of the light bulbs.  The first option allows random
  57. colors for each light.  The last two options allow red & green or
  58. multi-colored light sets.  You may also select the options which use
  59. the same color bulb for the entire string of lights.

  61. Pressing the "Help" pushbutton on the settings dialog to show this
  62. information.

  67. hide icon:        hides the icon (leaves the lights)
  68. about...:       shows the about box
  69. options:        brings up the options dialog
  70. remove lights:  removes the xmas lights
